What Coaches Are Saying About WBR
TestimonialsHere's what people are saying about WBR... My name is Eric Keenan and I played on the 2010 Wisconsin All-Stars Fall Baseball team. It was a great time and lots of fun! We played in showcase tournament games in August, September and October which allowed for great exposure to the world of baseball for all the players and a wonderful opportunity for me. It opened lots of doors for me that I feel would have never happened without being a member of the team. My name is Eric Keenan and I played on the 2010 Wisconsin All-Stars Fall Baseball team. It also gave me the opportunity to showcase by baseball skills and abilities for college baseball scouts. We played a lot of baseball, however we also had a lot of fun. One highlight was playing some baseball tournament games in New York and Rhode Island, as well as visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. We won the championship in New York and gained valuable experience in Rhode Island playing against some very good baseball teams.
Another advantage of playing for the Wisconsin All-Stars is Coach Buelow puts together a profile handbook that is priceless when it comes to recruiting. He also has numerous contacts in the world of baseball, which is also an advantage. The more exposure a player has, the more opportunities he will gain. The coaching staff was amazing and always encouraged our team, win or lose.
In closing, I was proud to be a member of the 2010 Wisconsin Al-Stars Baseball team and will remember my experience as a player. I encourage any player who has a passion for the game of baseball to consider the Wisconsin All-Stars Baseball program. You will have fun playing the game you love!

I am writing to inform that I was offered a 2/3 scholarship by Valparaiso University in Indiana. Valpo is a division I college and they play in the Horizon League. They offered me a $25,000 package, 11,500 academic and 12,500 athletic. $96,000 over four years. WOW! Playing for the All-Stars was so much fun. It was an outstanding experience. Thank you for everything.
Mike Jacobs, Beloit Turner HS Left Handed Pitcher played on Wisconsin All-Star 2008 Team
Playing on the Wisconsin All-Stars team gave me unlimited opportunities to showcase my baseball skills in front of coaches every time I played. Many coaches have recruited me as a direct result of playing on this team. Coach Mike Buelow went out of his way to organize quality events and get his players noticed. It has been an awesome experience in every way! Mike Buelow, The Wisconsin All-Stars Baseball team was a great opportunity for me. I got to know a great bunch of players from across the state, and played some high quality competition. It gave me a chance to travel to new places to play baseball, which gave me alot of exposure to college coaches. The New York and Rhode Island trip was a blast and gave me a chance to see if I could handle life as a college baseball player. As a result of all the exposure I was contacted by over 40 baseball programs and it helped me land a scholarship to a D-1 college. Justin Jaquish, 2010 Wisconsin All-Stars, 1st Team All-Conference. 2nd Team All-State Chippewa Falls High School Hey coach I just wanted to say thank you for the opportunity you gave me. "Coaching the 2010 Wisconsin All Stars with Mike Buelow and Terry Cool was one of the best experiences I have had as a high school coach. The kids were extremely talented and motivated. They were of high character and had great attitudes. I have no doubt that any of the players who want to play in college will have a chance to do so because of the exposure they received in front of college coaches.

The schedule was demanding as we played a lot of outstanding teams and that made for a great learning experience. We had a lot of fun times as a team. On the East Coast trip we saw Niagra Falls, ate at Ted's Hot Dogs (world famous) in Buffalo, visited (and practiced there) Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall Of Fame, visited Newport, Rhode Island, and had a chance to play on Vassar College's (Ivy League) outstanding field. Throughout the season we played on some nice college and minor league fields. I am already looking forward to coaching next year's team". Coach Chuck Jeffrey, 2010 Wisconsin All-Stars Coach & Assistant Varsity Baseball Rice Lake H.S. Thanks Again! Misty Krug, (Mother of Taylor Reinhardt, 2010 Wisconsin All-Stars) “Not only did I have a great experience playing for the Wisconsin All-Stars, but the high level of competition that I played against made me a better player. Zachary Weihert, 2010 Wisconsin All-Stars (1st Team All-Confernce Pardeeville HS) "I am very grateful that I was selected to play for the Wisconsin All Stars. The coaches were great and prepared me for what is expected to play at the next level. The coaches also did a great job of teaching me what to say and ask coaches when being recruited. The coaches actively got our names out there and in turn, got college coaches to come watch us play at our showcase tournaments. I currently have quite a few college coaches contacting me and I know it's because of my exposure on the Wisconsin All Stars.
In addition to playing a lot of baseball, I had a lot of fun traveling with the team. Our trip to New York, Rhode Island and Niagara Falls is one I will remember for a lifetime.
Geoffrey Wisialowski, 2010 Wisconsin All-Stars (1st Team All-Conference Whitnall HS) I would like to thank Coach Buelow and Coach Cool for the opportunity to play on the Wisconsin All Stars 2009 fall team. I enjoyed playing for the All-Stars. It was a great experience getting to play against some good competition out East and throughout the Midwest. The visit to the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown NY was awesome! The coaches were a huge asset to me in the recruiting process. I learned so much through the All-Stars program, which led to offers from numerous colleges and eventually my commitment to University of Connecticut. Thanks for all of your help in the recruiting process. I have received a lot of exposure playing for the Wisconsin All-Stars. I have a lot of college coaches contacting me.
Brett Vavra (2010 Wisconsin All-Stars, Chippewa Falls HS) "I really liked the recruiting seminar. The information was very helpful. The most important thing I learned is that you can still get money from D3 schools even though they can't give out athletic scholarships. Great camp, keep up the good work."
"I enjoyed your showcase camp. The registration fee was VERY reasonable compared to other showcases such as Perfect Game and Demarini Top 96."
"The recruiting seminar by Dave Carl (from NCSA) was an eye opener. Fantastic information. My son loved the camp. The staff kept everything moving and made it fun for the kids." John J. Eagan (Parent of Johnny Eagan, Wautoma High School. Johnny attended 2011 Wisconsin All-Stars Tryout Showcase Exposure Camp).

Justin Panka, Prairie Du Chein HS (Attended Wisconsin All-Stars 2011 Tryout Showcase Exposure Camp) Mickey Morgan and his Dad Mike (Mickey attended Wisconsin All-Stars 2011 Tryout Showcase Exposure Camp) I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your time and passionate work putting together the 2011 WBR TOP PROSPECT Summer Exposure Camp. You and your staff did a great job organizing the two days. There is no doubt you are very sincere about exposing and promoting the boys as potential college student athletes. We really appreciated how you took the time to listen and educate us on the whole recruiting process. Also, we definitely felt the NCSA seminar was informative and beneficial. Thanks again! Joan Radue (mother of Ryan Radue)
I just want to say thanks to Coach Mike Buelow and all the rest of the Wisconsin Baseball Report coaches for helping me out furthering my chances in the game of baseball! With their help at the Northern Wisconsin Showcase Skills Camp in Eau Claire, I have a better understanding on recruiting and the game itself! Thanks for helping me out to get a scholarship. Wisconsin Baseball Report is awesome! Mike Nompleggi (Oconto Falls High School, Class of 2012)
I really enjoyed the Northern Wisconsin High School Top Prospect Showcase Exposure Camp this past weekend in Eau Claire. It was a great way to show the skills that I possess to people that matter and can help me get somewhere with baseball. The atmosphere of the camp was unbelievable. The coaches kept us focused and did a great job helping us get better with tips to improve my baseball skills. It was incredibly helpful when Dave Carl from NCSA talked to us about what we need to do to get a baseball scholarship. He told me how I need to make myself known rather than try to be "discovered." I now know that I have to be proactive in the recruiting process. I really respected that the coaches evaluated us one by one instead of trying to evaluate multiple people. It was just great knowing that their attention was right on you and not on anything else. It was all around the best camp and best way to be exposed to the baseball world that I have ever attended. Just a great experience. Paul LeQuia (Chippewa Falls High School, Class of 2013)
"I had a lot of fun playing for the All-Stars. It was a great experience. The exposure was awesome. I have decided to go to Wisconsin Lutheran College to play football and baseball." Brett Youngbeck (1st Team All-Conference Brown Deer HS; Wisconsin All-Stars 2010 Fall National Club Team)
Dear Mr. Bueulow, Just wanted to let you know that Donnie Hissa has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at the NCAA Division I University of Notre Dame. Thank you for your help in getting us going in the baseball direction. We always thought Donnie was good, but you really confirmed it for us and got us going in the right direction. Thanks for everything. Gina Hissa (Mother of Donnie Hissa) Coach Buelow, Coach Cool and Coach Jeffrey, I have learned from going to WBR camps that you must be proactive in the recruiting process. The recruting seminars they have give a lot of information concerning what I have to do to get a baseball scholarship. I signed up for the GET RECRUITED feature at WBR website. I was immediately contacted by Indiana State University. I am getting contacted by college coaches. GET RECRUITED works. Alex Marriott (Wisconsin Rapids HS, 2011 Wisconsin All-Stars Summer National Club Team)
